On leaving university Simon qualified as a chartered engineer and Êworked for several years in the oil and gas industry. Although this career was very challenging it did not satisfy Simon's creative flair. In 1994 Simon left the industry and retrained in fine furniture design and craftsmanship at the world renowned Parnham College. Having graduated Simon immediately set up his own business which has recently relocated to a brand new facility in south London where he undertakes commissions for private clients.

The work has been widely exhibited at prestigious London venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Bonhams, Somerset House and 'Collect' at the V&A. Features have appeared in publications such as Homes and Antiques Magazine , The Guardian and Evening Standard as well as other industry publications. Simon has three Guildmarks for the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers for excellence in design and craftsmanship and the work is listed on the Crafts Council register of 'Selected Makers'.

Over the past twelve years Simon has built up an enviable reputation in the design and manufacture of fine furniture and now has a long list of satisfied customers. The beautiful designs are derived from very careful consideration of the individual brief and attention to detail. The combination of the designs with the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality materials results in the creation of enduring and unique pieces which are a joy to own and use.
